Caliente tropics hotel is excellent hotel, rooms are very large, clean and clear. The location of this hotel is also very good. Caliente Tropics Hotel is located within 2 miles of downtown Palm Springs, this Polynesian themed hotel is 4 miles from Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and Desert Princess Country Club. The Caliente Tropics Hotel opened in 1964 as a hangout for celebrities such as Elvis and the Rat Pack. The hotel combines its retro charm and motor hotel style with an up to date look and feel. Polynesian accents include tiki style art and small steam in the lobby that flows through a rock garden. Amenities include an outdoor pool, spa tub, expensive lawn, barbecue grills, and shuffleboard area. A poolside bar is open on weekends. A day spa pampers guests with relaxing treatment such as body wraps and massages. The Caliente Tropics Hotel provides many facilities like pets accepted in this hotel, and Banqueting services provided in this hotel and this hotel also provides meeting rooms, Internet/Email services, Wireless Internet Connection in the entire property, Conference room, Outdoor swimming pool, pool bar, Concierge, Tourist information, Congress facilities provided in this hotel and this hotel also provides free parking and Restaurant/Dinning. Hotel Caliente Tropics check in time is 4PM and Check out time is Noon. You must show a photo ID checking in. Your credit card will be charged at time of booking. Bed type preference and smoking rooms are not guaranteed in case of late arrivals. The total charge includes room rate, taxes, and any booking fees. Any extra charges such as parking, phone calls and room service, must be settled directly by the client at the hotel. The hotel Caliente Tropics service understands that sometime plans fall through. We do not charge an amendment or cancel fee. However the property does apply a penalty to its customers which we are required to forward to the client. The rooms are recently remodeled and clean. There are few things that can be improved upon but the most parts of the hotel’s remodels are nice. The most important thing is that rooms are clean, bedding is very comfortable. The pool area is fantastic with plenty of seating, BBQ, provides areas and even when the pool is full of people there is still space to relax. They have towels available but when it is really busy they can run out so best to be safe and bring your own. It would be nice if there was a bar out back by the pool. The Hotel Caliente tropic staff is excellent and outstanding staff that goes out its way you comfortable. The attitude of the staff is professional. The check in is fast and the front desk staff is very helpful and polite
